Summer Camp |

Does your child like to make pizzas, create amazing art projects, do crazy science experiments, hang on the farm with the animals, pet snakes and learn magic tricks from the magician himself? Well, they have just registered for the right summer experience! During a full day at camp they can enjoy these fun activities as well as leave our farm for swimming at the Y and soccer at Carl Shurz Park with Super Soccer Stars.

We offer half day camp with a warm nurturing program so that separation is easy. Children spend time on the farm, create art masterpieces, bake goodies, sing their favorite songs and play soccer as well.  The children go outside everyday during soccer at Carl Shurz Park or outdoor playground time at Asphalt Green. If your child is not fully potty trained they must be in pull-ups.       

NEW: Our campers ages 6-8 will participate in X-games at Carl Shurz Park, as well as chose from many electives to customize their day. They can chose from jewelry making, digital photography, computer, wood working, dance, drama, animal science, tennis and karaoke.

WEEKLY THEMES:

Week 1: June 30th-July 4th Welcome Week

Week 2: July 7th-11th Farm Animal Week; guest ducks, goats, sheep and more will come for a visit

Week 3: July 14th-18th Future Circus Week; face painters, balloon animals and magicians

Week 4: July 21st-25th Science and Nature Week; mad scientist presentation, earthworm demonstration & raise tadpoles

Week 5: July 28th-August 1st Exotic Animal Week; presentations on snakes, lizards, and many other exotic creatures

Week 6: August 4th-8th Little Chef Week; Chefs from different cultures will come and cook with the campers

Week 7: August 11th-15th People in our Neighborhood; FDNY safety program and a visit from a NYPD Officer

Week 8: August 20th-24th Rock and Roll Week; different musical performers will be visiting

Full day 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Ages 4 to 6 year olds & 6 to 8 year olds

Half day 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ages 3 to 4 year olds

GROUP NAMES:
Ages 3-4 - Hamsters
Ages 4-6 - Froggies
Ages 6-8 - Geckos

You bring lunch. We provide a nutritious snack.
Groups are based on 15 children with 3 counselors.
