Can you recall anything more adorable than a three year old cuddling a baby bunny for the first time? Or the almost four year old, now much more “bigger”, having planted their very own organic garden proudly holding out a fresh bouquet for mommy? Well these are just a sampling of the enriching activities we provide to our precious 3-4 year old campers.

This program is unsurpassed in quality and offers a variety of opportunities for this age group. The three hour morning is packed with music, arts and crafts (each one a treasure), organized games, outdoor activities and yes, tennis. We have to admit that's a photo-op when the gigantic racket has a mind of its own and your wee future Wimbledon star is determined to prove who the boss is.

Picture your little one during baking time, powdered with flour and grinning from ear to ear with a suspicious looking chocolate smudge on one cheek; how proud they are too when their goodies are offered at the Farmers' Market every Friday. All proceeds go to charity.

To add to the glee of this fantastic experience, we also include an animal education component. Here we spend hands-on time with the farm animals learning about their habits and how to care for them. Additionally, teaching them to ride a small pony is done in a very controlled and safe manner within the confines of an enclosed grassy area near the classroom.

There’s so much more we could say here but the best testimonial is in the vast number of families returning and the huge waiting list each year.

SCHEDULE AND GENERAL INFORMATION

Camp begins July 5th and ends August 27th.
Hours are 9:30 to 12:30       Monday through Friday

Group Age Staff ratio Enrollment option

Hamsters 3 1/2 to 4 12:4 5 days/wk only
Guinea Pigs 4 yr. 15:4 5 days/wk.

As you can see we offer this exciting initial day camp experience with choices of how many days per week you can enroll your babes. You can also select how many weeks to attend from one to eight. It is also our policy to assist you in making this time a happy one by working with you and your little one in the separation process. If this should present any discomfort for either of you, you may remain with the child in class for up to three days. It has been our experience over the last 8 years that it takes the children far less time than the mommies to jump right in and enjoy their new friends and activities. Children must be potty-trained.

Some helpful hints in your preparation for camp would be:

  • We have refrigerators in every room to hold the lunches you need to pack each day.
  • Comfy shoes and clothes are essential for maximum unrestricted fun.
  • Sunscreen is always a must.
  • A swim suit and towel for the days we play in the kiddie pool.

All in all we know from past years this is a summer the children will talk about for a very long time after camp is over. We sincerely look forward to sharing it with you and yours.
